| Rules and Policies
General Policies Missed Lessons: To schedule a make up please email us at least 24 hours in advance for a reservation. Make ups are available to current members not expired members. You may schedule 1 make up per day. You may schedule make ups in person or by the customer portal once you are a member. Holidays and Closings: Our center closes for Christmas, Easter, 4th of July Week, Memorial Day Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend. Please re-schedule absences due to holidays or closings. For all closings please refer to our online calander at www.youflip.com Class Attire: Students are required to wear a uniform to their classes. Please order or buy an uniform at the front desk.
Please do not wear any jewelry, watches or earings. Clothing Shelves: All students should use the shelves in the lobby to store their items. Please do not bring valuables as we can not watch your items and can not be responsible for them. Clothing may not be left on the floor as it is a fire hazard. Parents' Observation: Parents may observe but not interact with any student during class. No parent may be on the floor of the gym unless given permission by the staff. There is free WIFI throughout the gym for your convenience.
Evaluations: Instructors evaluate the students each week. Students will receive "good cards" each week for their skills acheived. Students progress is presented online at www.youflip.com Students must acheive an 80% on their evaluation to move to the next level. Trial Classes: Please come and try one of our classes free of charge. Payment Policies Refund Policy: Our center offers a free trial class and a variety of payment options for each of our customers to choose from. We do not offer refunds of registration fees, private lesson fees, membership fees, or camp fees once paid, unless we can not offer you services for your payment.
Payments Accepted: (Visa/Mastercard/Discover, AMEX, checks and cash) Drop Procedure: Students are highlighted in our system when their tution is due. A call will be placed and an email will be sent as a reminder that tutition is due. Students will not be permitted into class until payment has been received. Students will also be given a yellow reminder card that their parent must come to the front office.
Returned Check: A fee of $35.00 is charged on all returned checks.
Registration fee: renewed annually at $45.00 per student, discounted for longer agreement forms.
All Holiday special and Package deals have expired as of Jan. 3rd 2009. Normals rates now apply. There are no refunds on holiday specials or package deals. Specials and Package deals can not be exchanged, changed or replace normal services Safety Guidelines Appreciate the Risk: Participation in gymnastics, even under the best conditions, carries with it a reasonable assumption of risk. Appreciate the fact that improper conduct of this activity can result in catastrophic injury, paralysis, or even death. Be Supervised: Every gymnastics session should always be supervised by a competent professional. Never participate in gymnastics without proper supervision.
Dress Appropriately: Always dress in terms of the learning/performing situation. Use chalk, handgrips, tape, protective body equipment, etc., where appropriate. When in doubt, consult your instructor. Check Equipment: Before every session, be sure that the apparatus is in proper working condition, is correctly aligned, and is adjusted according to individual needs. Also, be sure to have adequate and properly placed matting. When in doubt, consult your instructor. Communicate Clearly: Establish a clear, accurate, communicative link with your teacher/coach. Make certain that both of you know exactly what, when, where, how, and why the skill is to be performed and/or spotted.
Be Prepared to Participate: Be sure that you are physically, as well as mentally, ready to perform. Total fitness is a fundamental prerequisite to safe practices in gymnastics. Master Basic Skills First: Follow a definite progressive pattern in skill learning. Master first those basic skills that have the broadest application tothe more complex skills.
Know the skill: Be sure to have an accurate visual concept of the full potential of the skill. Know how to initiate, execute, and complete the entire movement. Develop an awareness for the more critical aspects of each skill. Always Follow Through: Once you commit to and/or go for a skill, always follow through to its full completion. Be keenly aware that a prime consideration is protection of your head and spinal column.
Know Your Limitations: Develop a healthy awareness and respect for your individual limitations in learning and performing gymnastics.
